Your Care Vault information.
This page explains what happens if an adult who is responsible for you makes a private Care Vault record about you. You do not need an account to read it.
What this is
An adult who is responsible for you has made a private Care Vault record to help organise your care. Care Vault is run by Chronix Health Group Ltd.
What can be stored
Your initials or first name, age band, the outward part of your postcode, and information the adult adds about health needs, allergies, medicines or extra support. It is not a diagnosis or a complete medical record.
Where it came from
The information comes from the adult managing the record. You can tell them or us if anything is wrong.
Who can see it
For now, only authorised family managers and a small number of Care World staff who need access for security, support or safeguarding can see it. It is not shared with carers while the child-sharing rules are switched off. We do not sell it or use it for advertising, and no AI system receives it.
How long it is kept
We keep it only while it is needed. A reviewed deletion closes the record straight away and the remaining record is permanently removed after the deletion window, unless the law requires a limited hold.
Your rights
You can ask what is held, ask for a copy, ask us to fix it, limit how it is used, object, or ask for deletion. An adult with parental responsibility can help you. We will consider what is best for you and any law we must follow.
Talk to us
Email privacy@careworld.app. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk. Asking questions or using your rights is free and will not get you or your family into trouble.
This is the short child-friendly explanation. You can also read the full Care Vault privacy notice or use our data complaints form without signing in.
